Joe's expertise includes the design, management, and construction of roads and infrastructure, bulk earthworks, flood modelling and hydraulic analysis, water- sensitive urban design modelling, mining, defence, industrial development, car parks, retaining walls, erosion and sediment control, as well as sewer and water reticulation.

Dr Hong has worked as a Safety Manager/Consultant for the past 13+ years covering both the Public and Private sectors and across many industries: Construction [residential & mixed-commercial], civil, education, insurance, factory, etc. Dr Hong has a firm understanding on safety legislative practices and requirements that are expected on any site with a clean record of “zero harm”. Dr Hong continues to promote and proactively maintain a positive safety culture and practice to ensure everyone understands why safety is a necessity; from conceptualization through to occupational certification. Dr Hong continues to maintain a high safety standard with an established ISO accredited system under his belt.
